More positions of responsibility

Martha and Bethea have taken on two important roles in our school and are already showing great leadership qualities.

These girls are both prefects which form part of the Prep Leadership Team.  With this role, they also automatically sit on the School Council which is another important part of the life of the school.

Well done girls!

Roald Dahl Day

Today in the Prep School, we are celebrating Roald Dahl day.

The children have come in some fantastic costumes to celebrate the work of this well loved children's author.

We are excited to see who wins the giant Wonker bar later in the day!

Positions of Responsibility

This morning we completed the eagerly awaited votes to select the children to hold positions of responsibilities.

Lexie will be our Form Captain for the Autumn term and Harry will be the Vice Captain.

Eshel and Ellie were also elected as the Upper Prep 1 School Council representatives and will hold this position for the full year to help the School Council move forward with their new projects.

Thank you and well done to these children for taking on these important roles for our form.

A smelly investigation!

Today the children have had a closer look at fresh and dried yeast and have considered why and how bubbles formed when it was mixed with warm water and sugar.  They then linked this to bread and the bread making process.

We are looking forward to continuing our investigations next week.

Introducing Upper Prep 1

Introducing our new Upper Prep 1 form.

We chose a beautiful sunny morning to take our form photograph in our lovely school grounds.

We are excited about the year ahead.

Roald Dahl Day

Just a reminder that we will be celebrating Roald Dahl day on Monday 14th September.

We are looking forward to another great day of fun and fundraising.

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to a new school year!

It has been great to see you all back in school today and I hope that you have all enjoyed seeing your friends again.

Have a great evening and I look forward to seeing you all in the morning.
