Merry Christmas!

I would just like to take the time to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and hope that 2021 will be a happy and healthy one for everyone.

You have all worked really hard this term and I hope that you enjoy a very happy holiday with your families.

I look forward to hearing all about your Christmas adventures when we return in January.

Take care and stay safe.

Christmas Woodland Adventure

This afternoon, the children in Upper Prep were treated to an afternoon of woodland Christmas fun.

The children made some super Christmas tree decorations using wool and wooden pieces and managed, under the watchful eye of Miss Hopkins, to create a star on one side by carefully threading their wool.  These will make a great addition to the children's trees at home.

The children also completed a scavenger hunt around our lovely woodland area to find the letters needed to reveal a secret message that was hidden with the Christmas pictures.

The weather was kind to us and remained dry however it was rather chilly.  To warm up, the children enjoyed a tasty hot chocolate to finish their afternoon of fun.

A huge thank you to Miss Hopkins for planning such a wonderful afternoon for the children.  She had not only planned the activities but had also transformed the woodland base camp into a little Christmas wonderland with music, sparkly lights, Christmas decorations and three woodland themed Christmas trees.

Naughty Elf!

This morning the children in Upper Prep 1 have been surprised by Ralph the Elf's most recent adventure.  Watch the video below to see exactly what he has been up to!
